With a few clicks, you can remove a company from QuickBooks. Simply follow the steps below.
The company removal process is broken (at least in QuickBooks 11) and so you might want to make sure you delete the company before trying to remove it from QuickBooks.
If you want to delete a company, you can use this tool (available in the Tools menu on the company page in QuickBooks).
You can also use QuickBooks to remove the company by clicking the link at the top of the page to the company’s page. Click the company you want to remove and then click the Remove link.
A company removal is a pain because it requires you to first delete the company from QuickBooks. If you want you can go to the company and click the Remove link. If you want to remove the company from QuickBooks just follow those steps.
If you use this tool, you can remove a company from QuickBooks in two ways: you can either click the company you want to remove and then click the Remove link or you can go to the company and click the Remove link.
I know a lot of people use this site to remove their company from QuickBooks, but many of us have a different method, so if you have a different method than what I’ve described, feel free to post it here.
In QuickBooks, clicking the company name and then clicking Remove lets you remove the company without having to enter the name into the company record. I know because I’ve seen someone do that. But if you want to remove a company from QuickBooks on your own, there’s a quick link at the top of the page for you to click.
If you have a “quickbooks” file on your pc, you can right-click and get to the file in the file manager, right-click a company, select Delete, and then choose the company name. If you have multiple companies on your pc, go into each company and delete the company.
Once you’ve deleted a company, you can go back to the company detail page on the left and delete that company.
