The word “single” here is a euphemism for “single employee.” There is no such thing as a single machine, no such thing as a single person – we are many, and it’s just the way that we are. If a manufacturing company uses a single person, the company will be the single person.
In other words, if a manufacturing company used a single machine, they would not be the one single person in the company. When one person worked for a single company, they would be the company. When one person worked for multiple companies, they would be multiple companies.
Some manufacturing companies employ a single person, but that person is only a single machine, they are not the same person as the company. This is an important distinction in a day and age when everyone has multiple identities, all with their own identities. It is something that should be considered in the workplace, because it is something that should be discussed, even if only hypothetically.
This practice is a big one on the corporate front. Consider the fact that a single person can easily be a liability if they don’t adhere to the company’s policies and procedures. So if one person is responsible for a company, they are responsible for everything that happens at the company, not just for that one person. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it can be a real problem.
On the other hand, you can be expected to keep one person in your life, but don’t let anyone else get in the way.
The practice of not letting a single person in your life has been in place for a long time. Some companies have more than that, and they could be considered a single entity.

However, the reality is the number of people working on a company’s ship is growing faster than the number of employees on the ship. While you can imagine the number of people working on a ship every year — it’s not like there’s almost an infinite number of people you can call from a billion different jobs — the number of people that would be working on a ship every 10 years is just one billion — and that’s not the number of people working on the ship every 10 years.
And if its not the number of people working on the ship that is growing faster than the number of employees on the ship, then how do they know how many people are working on the ship.
How do they know how many people are working on the ship? A company might be hiring new employees every day, but how do they know if they’re hiring the right people? They might hire more people than needed, or they might hire people based on whatever random criteria they can come up with.
