As you may have noticed, there are a lot of supply chain projects happening around the world right now, and the same goes for the supply chain management (SCM) sector.

As a supply chain manager, what I like to do is try to identify where people are getting things wrong. What are they doing wrong? What can we do better as a whole? Then, by giving people the tools to fix these issues, we can make the supply chain more efficient… and maybe even better.

As I think about this, I can’t help but compare my own experience to the way a lot of supply chain managers operate. A lot of them tend to be obsessed with the idea of supply chain optimization. For example, they spend hours every week talking with suppliers and trying to optimize their supply chain. I’m not sure I could be that obsessed with supply chain optimization though. I think I’m just more likely to focus on the supply chain itself.

That’s not the only thing a supply chain optimization approach can focus on, though. Supply chain optimization can be a tool to help organize and prioritize suppliers. When it comes to organizing suppliers, supply chain optimization can help you figure out the best way to sell your product to your client. But it can also help you figure out where to put resources and how to organize them.

Supply chain management is the process of planning, organizing, and managing a company’s supply chain, which consists of the goods and materials the company purchases, the methods of transporting these goods, and the distribution networks in which these goods are put to market. By optimizing the supply chain you can, in the simplest of terms, cut costs and increase efficiency. Sometimes this is done by optimizing purchasing or logistics processes, but there’s also ways to optimize the entire supply chain.

We’ve been working on a new supply chain management tool over the last year that I’m hoping is ready to go live. Supply Chain Management Planner (SCP) is a spreadsheet based tool to help you plan and track your company’s supply chain. It’s not quite a full-on spreadsheet like our usual spreadsheet, but it will be good enough for a start.

The way we manage our supply chain is to make the right decisions and make them right. We like to know what the right decision is, and it’s an open question that we’d like to answer. For example, what should we do when a distributor is opening a new warehouse? A new owner doesn’t just have to ask for a new warehouse, he’s going to ask for a new distributor.

It seems that the game will be designed from the ground up to take the most care in the supply chain management of the game, so its a very important topic. A lot of the decisions you make in real life may have a much bigger impact on your company in our game, so you should spend some time studying the subject. So if you’re in Seattle and you decide to only sell to Amazon, then Amazon will be able to sell to you. If you’re in Los Angeles, Amazon will have to order a warehouse to sell to you.

The supply chain of the game will be changed to your location, as well as the sales channels of Amazon. This will affect the quantity of products that will be ordered from Amazon and the prices that will be charged.
