So we are not very good at estimating the raw materials inventory balance, as we didn’t have a lot of actual storage equipment to put the supplies in. We were planning on doing two major big moves, including an entire new garage, as well as some other minor upgrades. But we had no idea when we would be able to get this stuff sorted and stored.
Because our storage space is not as big as we had hoped, we had to move supplies from different storage facilities and from two other storage facilities. This has reduced our inventory to somewhere around $300,000, and it’s still hard to figure out where we are with the supplies that we have in storage, but we are also not exactly sure where we are with our inventory.
We do have a little problem with some of the stuff that we can’t use. Because there is no way to determine what exactly is in the warehouse, or what is in the garage. And the stuff that we can’t use is basically gone. The most important thing is that we have no way to know if we have any inventory on hand, and we know that we don’t.
