It isn’t a resource control for me. It’s a reminder that it’s okay when we change our habits and routines to fit our needs. What I do know about self-care is that when I do something, I don’t “know” that it is okay. It’s a skill that I learned this summer.
When I do something, I don’t know if it is okay. I don’t know if it is okay to do a task or not. If it is okay to do something, then I know that it is okay to do it.
When you first get into self-care it’s difficult to see exactly what you should do. You have to first figure out what you can do to be okay with yourself and then figure out what you can do to make yourself happy. Like everyone, we have our own set of habits and routines that we need to change in order to feel happy or at peace.
The thing about self-care is that it is a very broad subject that can be very confusing to navigate. For many, it may seem that there are too many things that need doing to feel good and happy, and that there is not enough time in the day to do everything. There are so many options, but as you can imagine, it can be a daunting task to choose the best ones.
The other thing we love about self-care is we don’t need to be in the moment to take our actions. To take a step without a step is to take a step away from what is important, and there isn’t any really good way of doing that. In fact, it makes it much more of a burden to be involved in your own actions while you’re in the moment, which is something I think everyone should always do.
I feel that being in the moment is important because we have it, but it will take us to a lot of places and we sometimes forget how to be in the moment. Not in a bad way, but not the way we should be.
I think what that means for us is that for a lot of things we do, we are in the moment but we’re not always in the moment. For example when I do something I’m not always sure what I’m doing. I’m not in the moment, but I have some idea but it’s not 100% clear. I’m not always sure what the goal of the action is either.
For example, you might hear the word “solve” as an important word in a movie. When we watch movies we feel like we are in the moment, but the moment itself might have been written in advance. Or we might feel like we are in the moment when we’re watching something, but we’re not sure what the end result is.
Another example is when we read something we have an idea of what we are reading, but we don’t know what the next section of text will be. Some books might have a foreword, while others might have a preface. In the same way, information control is a type of knowledge that we are supposed to have, but we may not know what the next step in the information flow will be.
