At the moment I’m reading about a woman who is attempting to get into a job as a therapist. She is a recent graduate of the University of Tennessee and is a licensed clinical psychologist. Because of her experience she has received a lot of interviews, but she is still looking for a job. Withum careers is a blog run by a woman in her mid-30s from Chicago, Illinois.
Withum careers is written by a woman who graduated from U of T in 2011 and has been involved in the non-profit sector for a little over two years. She has a lot of experience with marketing, public relations, and communications. In addition to her experience in the non-profit world, she also has experience as a student teacher.
A woman with a lot of experience with marketing she has had was interviewed by a woman who said that she got to be a consultant for a “public relations firm.” The woman’s reply was that she didn’t know what to do.
I interviewed a guy who recently had graduated from the same school. He had a lot of experience in the marketing sector. He said that he got to work for a public relations firm. The woman who interviewed him said that her firm uses marketing to get people to come to events. She also said that they use the word’marketing’ to mean “how to get people to buy from you,” and that they had a lot of marketing consultants.
The womans reply was that she didnt know what to do.
That is so true. That’s a great question. I think that it depends on the context of the interview. If you’re interviewing someone who works for a public relations firm it is much more acceptable to ask questions about what the company does and what the client wants them to do. If you’re interviewing a guy who’s just graduated from college you might be more apt to ask if he has any experience with marketing.
