You know what would be nice? A little sentence that ends in a cog.
I’m not sure that this particular sentence has a cog in it at all. The ending is just a little bit of slang for “cog,” which is a term used in the science of linguistics to refer to an individual sound. It’s also used as a noun in the same sense as “cog.
Well, for those of you who haven’t seen the latest trailer, you will see that its a little bit more than that. It definitely has a cog in it. And that’s what I’m talking about. The whole thing is a little bit of a sci-fi thriller with a dash of cyberpunk-ish elements. I haven’t had the chance to play a lot of the game, but after a quick glance, I was pretty impressed with everything.
In the game you play, you control Colt Vahn, a man who has been brainwashed into believing he’s a cyborg. When you first start, you have no idea what you’re doing. You’re just a regular guy with a gun. Then, after a few days, you get a call from your sister who tells you that she’s got an urgent message for you. She’s in the middle of a meeting and she’s going to help you out.
The game, as you may have guessed, is pretty much like anything else youve played before. Its core mechanic is a combination of two things. First is the idea of being able to “think” while you play. You can switch between one of five different skills, the most useful of which is “Cog-based” (which in this case is the ability to “think” while your weapon is moving).
Second is the idea that you can access items by thinking about them, then moving them, then thinking about them again. It really is like you can access almost anything by thinking about it.
This is a very cool mechanic and probably the most impressive system Ive played in a long time. I think the main problem with the Cog system is that it makes it much harder to really get into the game. By the time you get your first level you have to use your weapon to think about items. You have to think about what they are, where they are, what they do, and what they look like.
So, I’ve personally been playing with the Cog system, and for some reason, I’ve always found that it’s a very effective method of getting into the game. It doesn’t take much time to get into the game and it’s totally cool, but I’ve always found it to be pretty successful. You’re going to get a few enemies to kill you, and then you’re going to move them to some random spot on the map.
